What is the purpose of your bedroom?

What purpose does your bedroom serve you? Is this a room you just go in to sleep in or does your bedroom have multiple purposes? Is it also a room to relax and read a book or many books, a place to chit chat with your girlfriend, to read magazines, or talk to your mom on the phone, or is it your own personal get away space anytime during the day?

As a teenager, a bedroom serves every purpose imaginable, but after we get our own home with separate rooms for all those other purposes, do you still want or need a bedroom to do more than just let you sleep in the bed?



Does your bedroom has a comfortable place to sit, relax, and have a cup of tea? How much time do you spend in your bedroom when you are not sleeping? Is it your get-a-way room anytime during the day? Do your girlfriends come in and help your choose what to wear for a special event?

Is your bedroom sophisticated, quiet and peaceful, a place for relaxation and sleep?

Is your bedroom girly and romantic? Is this just your own personal bedroom or do you share it with your husband? Can a master bedroom be too girly for a guy, if you are a guy would you like to sleep in this room every night, or would you prefer something a lot less girly?



What do you think of having lots of books in a bedroom? Is it too loud, are the books talking? What about the books being over your head as you sleep - dreamy or dangerous?
