Last week we made a headboard bench and we had some wood left over, and along with another small run to Home Depo, my husband made a cocktail table for the porch. The paint is Glidden, Satin Finish, True Turquoise.
We also hung the drop cloth drapes. I hoped the wrinkles would fall out, but no such luck, I will need to take them down and iron them. We took standard hooks and put them into the wood and then just hung them with clip-on hooks. I really love them!
Here is a close up of the round pots with the cherubs on them. I adore cherubs. I really wanted to put topiaries in them but I am concerned that there isn't enough natural light and that they won't survive. I went looking for artificial topiaries but they look so fake I can't bring myself to do that. I think some flowers will be nice.
If anyone has ever made a pillow from a crochet tablecloth I would love to hear from you. See you all next week.
