I Finished Decorating the Bedroom for Christmas

A couple of weeks ago I started decorating the bedroom for Christmas and you can see that post here. Since then I have finished the other side of the bed as well as the lingerie dresser. This is the matching bombay chest on the opposite side of the bed.

I am in love with this angel candle which I have had for a very long time. Can you hear the music?
I placed a white platter on the marble top and placed two vases, the candle, gold beading and gold ornaments on top.
I filled the green vase with gold ornaments and beading.
And the clear glass vase I filled with pine cones.
I found this heart shaped container with rose petals at The Dollar Store, it is actually soap but I don't think it will ever be used as that. I think the rose petals are gorgeous!
Above the chest on the mirror I placed a white feather wreath.
On the other side of the room is the lingerie chest.
Somehow a simple door hanger looks absolutely lovely hanging from a knob on the dresser.
I adore this lamp which I purchased years ago. I actually have two of these lamps.

I found this Merry Christmas ornament and knew it would hang perfectly on this lamp.
I adore these crystal newel post with brass accents and marble bases.
If you have been reading my blog for long you also know I love cherubs.
I placed some different ornaments on the shelves on each side of the dresser.

I enjoyed decorating my bedroom for Christmas. It makes it feel like the holidays are really here.  Do you decorate your bedroom for the holidays?

  1. Oh your bedroom is absolutely lovely-you have added such priceless and meaningful touches. The angel candle is my very favorite, Patty-I can certainly see why she is so special to you.
Looking forward to our Tis The Season next week!

    1. Hey Jemma:
Thank you! I do love angels and cherubs. I am looking forward to next week also - it should be a great time for everyone!

  2. It turned out beautiful. I love angels. I really like the wreath!

    1. I love that feather wreath. It is inexpensive and easy to store and looks great from year to year.

  3. Patty, I certainly can hear the angel candle's music! And I've looked at these pictures 3 times loving my visit to your beautiful bedroom. The non-seasonal things in your room lend themselves so well to your Christmas lovelies. The golds and that white wreath are striking but even the Dollar Store rose petal soap and the pinecones are just beautiful.

I loved seeing this because when you posted about your first touches of Christmas in the room was the first time I'd ever visited your blog!

    1. Dewana:
Thank you for your kind words. I can hear the music too. It is so nice to be surrounded by simple but lovely items - they make me feel good. I am so glad we have connected.

  9. I love that you decorated your bedroom! I have never thought to do that! And why not?! Christmas decor always makes me in a better mood, so why wouldn't I want to feel the same way in our room? Thanks for sharing!

  10. Patty,
Your bedroom is gorgeous. I really like the green colors. This is a favorite color of Nel's and has her den decorated in it. I love the little cherub, and the green glass jar with ornaments is so pretty. We are both scheduled for the "Tis The Season Blog Tour" tomorrow, so I will be back to visit with you again and see all your goodies. I'm so glad to have met you.
